Panchiko have announced Chimera for April 9, 2027, opening the album campaign with One Car Hits Another, featuring Mei Semones. The announcement arrived on October 23. The new record brings together a dozen tracks and a guest list that stretches beyond that first single.

The band's Bandcamp listing supplies the detail behind the announcement: Semones appears on three songs, while billy woods and Cotillon join the opener, Day One. Clarion, Hugh Pascall, Korea Girl, Mirra Maze, Abby Sage and Lula Nova also appear in the track credits.
One single now, the full record in April
There is an important distinction for anyone opening the preorder page. The digital purchase currently includes one track for immediate download; the complete album follows on release day. Seeing all 12 titles listed does not mean that all 12 recordings are already available.
Counting the published credits puts Semones on a quarter of the track list: One Car Hits Another, Glazing and Zinc Spark. That makes her involvement broader than the launch single alone, without establishing how much of each recording she performs. The credits identify collaborators; they are not a substitute for hearing the finished album.
The vinyl edition has its own limit
The listed Chimera-Glas vinyl variant is an edition of 3,000 and includes a digital album. That quantity describes this particular variant, not every possible pressing of Chimera. The page schedules shipping around April 9. Production, mixing and mastering are credited to Panchiko and CJ Mirra.
NME's announcement coverage introduces the single, while the band's history supplies context for a group whose early recordings found a later audience online. Our earlier-song archive also includes Shandy In The Graveyard, featuring billy woods. Chimera is a new-album preorder, unlike the catalogue return in Robbie Williams' vinyl reissue. It also adds an April date to a 2027 album calendar that already includes CHVRCHES' January release.
