Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators have announced Flying Blind, a new album arriving February 26 through Gibson Records. Its title track is out now, giving listeners their first introduction to the project. A world tour will follow, bringing the band back to stages across the Americas, the UK and Europe.

A studio record built around playing together
The 12-track release is the group's fifth studio album and its first since 4 in 2022. Producer Michael 'Elvis' Baskette worked with the band at Studio Barbarosa in Florida. According to the album announcement, much of the recording was done live, with the players together in the room.
That production choice is a useful detail, although it should not be mistaken for a review of an album that has yet to arrive. Recording a band together describes the process; listeners will judge the songs and performances once the full record is available.
The title track starts the rollout
The Flying Blind single is accompanied by a video filmed at Los Angeles' Viper Room. The release also continues the group's relationship with Gibson Records, the label associated with the long-established guitar maker. The single is the immediate listening opportunity, while the album remains a forthcoming release.
A tour with more than the new songs to draw on
General ticket sales are scheduled for October 9. Fans should use the official artist and venue listings to check individual dates and local sale times, rather than assuming every stop follows identical arrangements. The announced run includes North American shows and further dates in the UK and Europe.
Slash's work with this band has its own catalogue, separate from Guns N' Roses. Our report on Guns N' Roses bringing a rarely played song back in São Paulo illustrates how much interest an unexpected live choice can generate. It does not tell us what The Conspirators will play on this tour.
