What is the meaning behind Mind Train lyrics?

When we reflect on what the artist might have meant, Yoko Ono's song 'Mindtrain' uses train tracks which cross through the mind to show how people think about violence and dark aspects of life. The song uses repetitive lyrics together with its visual description of shining windows and empty buildings to show a person experiencing inner conflict and dark mental states. The lyrics of Mind train focus on expressing five main emotions which include anger and reflection and despair and angst and solitude. The song demonstrates how violence and internal battles plus self-reflection and mental distress matter to its message. The lyrics contain a repeated reference to thoughts of killing a man which introduces a mature theme that may not be suitable for children under 13. The content of the movie contains no explicit material but its central theme of violence is important enough to require a PG-13 rating.
