Paul McCartney's The Boys of Dungeon Lane has a longer digital edition, with three previously unreleased songs and a different mix of his Ringo Starr duet, Home to Us. The additions bring the running order to 18 recordings. Fans looking for the new vinyl have a separate wait: the announced two-LP edition is due on December 9.

Three songs, plus a second take on a duet
City Fox, One Night Stand and Chelsea Boots are the three new songs named in the official release notice. Home to Us – Flip Mix is different: McCartney and Starr swap the parts they sang on the original recording. It is an additional version of an existing song, not a fourth brand-new composition.
Where the additions sit
Comparing the two official tracklists shows that the original 14 titles stay in their existing order. The three songs follow Momma Gets By, and the flip mix closes the expanded edition. That gives returning listeners a straightforward way to find the extras without mistaking the special edition for a wholly different album.
Listening now and buying a physical copy are separate choices
The digital edition is available, while the physical campaign includes CD and a limited orange-and-blue marble double LP with a zoetrope etching. The Special Edition discography page identifies the expanded release; its music and its packaging should not be treated as interchangeable selling points.
Collector-focused releases do not always add music. Our reports on Robbie Williams returning to vinyl and U2's limited-edition Carnaval de Luz follow the physical-release side of the market. For Dungeon Lane, the tracklist comparison gives listeners another concrete question to answer: do they want the extra recordings, the physical edition, or both?
The Liverpool thread continues
The original album's notes describe a project rooted in McCartney's early Liverpool years and longstanding friendships. That perspective reaches back before the Beatles fame outlined in his career history. The new material extends the same release rather than replacing it. Its artistic merits are a separate listening question; the verified change here is what has been added and when each format is available.
