The government flooded the ghettos and the inner cities preventing future dissidents by making drug communities. They profit billions every year form all the drugs they sell and millions of people are affected as they're hooked or put in jail. The government stands to benefit form the resistance drugs prevent so our leaders still exploit this to the most extreme extent. All while we watch. Are you using drugs or are they using you? Are you in control or are they controlling you? For a government seeking obedience drugs are a powerful tool. Because a completely wasted populace is easier to rule.
