After years away from the spotlight down under, global pop icon Kesha has officially confirmed her return to Australia with a headline tour scheduled for February 2026. Her newly announced shows are part of the T–Ts Out Tour, a celebration of her latest album titled "." (Period) — her first record as an independent artist. In contrast to her past visits, this marks her first full-scale solo tour in Australia in over a decade, despite her 2018 performances during the Rainbow Tour. Nevertheless, fans in four major cities — Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth — will finally get the chance to experience Kesha’s unfiltered stage presence again.

No Sydney Date – But Could Mardi Gras Be a Surprise?

Of course, Sydney is not on schedule. Regardless, Kesha's tour dates coincide with the 2024 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras celebration, which is a yearly event and was also part of the 2020 Kesha tour. No official word got out about her participation this time, and speculation only swells. On the flip side, Kesha's last trip to Australia in early 2024 was highlighted by a very special concert at the Australian Open in Melbourne, followed by a fan event in Sydney named House of Kesha. Many feel that whichever announcement comes forth, a surprise appearance at Mardi Gras would undoubtedly match her words of empowerment and celebration of individuality.

A Tour Rooted in Independence and Personal Growth

Kesha's 2026 tour is special from all other angles, being an emblem of artistic freedom and personal healing. The latest album (Period) followed the exit from Kemosabe Records after a long legal battle that has been painful for Kesha with the founder of the label, Dr. Luke. The two parties settled in 2023, and the release of Kesha's contract finally happened in March 2024. She has said that, unlike other records, she considers this album her true reclaiming of her voice and her artistry, as well as her spirit. She has, nevertheless, openly acknowledged the emotional weight carried by other works and the trauma behind it all.

Empowered, Independent, and Ready to Shine

In a recent interview, she said that this new chapter feels like a "homecoming": the return of creative ownership and joy. However, her fans have nevertheless stood by her, drawn by the raw honesty she now projects in her shows and the new energy she has found. Hence, Kesha is not just giving an album tour in Australia: this is the dawn of a new era, the old one of strength, freedom, and reconnection, after all. It has been a very long journey for her, and this return promises to be one she will never forget.
