Miss Nana (formerly Lil' Miss Nana, born Tanyshwia D. Stokes on May 10, 1991) is an American rapper from Newark, New Jersey.Stokes first began rapping when DJ King Shameek, a member of rap group Twin Hype, heard her rapping on her father's voicemail. He later suggested Stokes do a promotion for Wendy Williams' radio show on WBLS. Afterwards, the promo led to other projects such as remixes, appearances in other radio shows across the country.Stokes was invited to by Bow Wow to join him on his Unleashed Tour in 2003.
