Mike Myers has been a driving force in the world of percussion education, arranging, composing, performing, and recording for over three decades.The Denton, Texas-based drummer, keyboardist began issuing solo albums in 1992. Myers simply goes to where the music leads him. Although he sometimes shows his influences of: Emerson Lake and Palmer, and Frank Zappa, his albums contain diverse styles which defy easy categorization, such as: rock, jazz, reggae, minimalism, electronic, progressive rock, ambient, etc. Myers began his studio experience in Lubbock, TX back in the 1970s and played on numerous demos, jingles and as a sideman on other people’s projects.
