Predominantly a composer and performer of klezmer music, having proclaimed himself the "Avenging Angel of Klezmer", Berner's darkly humorous, insightful and satirical lyrics, as well as his cabaret live act, have gained him considerable underground acclaim and popularity throughout the world.
