Corey Bapes was born in New Orleans (9th Ward), Louisiana on July 14. He later moved to Cleveland,Ohio with his mom and sister at age 10. Always interested in rap it wasn't long before Corey started freestyling with a group of friends and fellow rappers called the "The Ave Click". Corey later started hitting studios with “The Ave Click” which led to a meeting between him and label head Big Truth.
