Well, once upon a wilderness in Canaan's promise land
God revealed to Abraham the judgement He had planned
For the wicked fallen people there who lived down in the vale
He was gonna rain the citywide with brimstone and hail

Now looking over Sodom with a clear unhindered view
Abraham stepped forward to ask God a thing or two
Pointing out the chance that there might be an upright man
