Mark Lenover Franny Lyrics

Franny doesn't have any friends
Franny mostly keeps to herself
In her basement apartment
Collecting money from the government
She has this little twelve inch TV
And it keeps her company
And when she has her back to it
When she's clipping coupons and pouring over old magazines
It'll whisper
It'll hiss

She's got that TV
To tell her when to lock the door And tell her what to eat
It says it can keep her safe
From the street kids hiding in her microwave
And the poisonous residuе
That makes her slip and fall in the tub
And thе blanket people
Who work all night to turn her off
And the infernal machines
That run all night to keep her unclean

It'll whisper
It'll hiss
