Leon Bridges A Merry Black Christmas Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I'm thinking, I'm thinking about
A Merry Black Christmas
Just like the one I never had before
Like kids out in the street with no shoes on their feet
If they're happy, oh, they're happy, can't you see?

[Chorus]
I'm thinking (I'm thinking)
Oh, I'm thinking (I'm thinking)
Thinking about the Merry Black Christmas

[Verse 2]
My Mom is in the kitchen making a cake
And my Dad is on his job, be home late
All the kids around the tree
Everybody, including me We know we're gonna decorate, yes, we are
Our Christmas tree

[Interlude]
Lord, have mercy

[Chorus]
We're thinking (We're thinking)
Oh, we're thinking (We're thinking)
Thinking about a Merry Black Christmas
We're thinking (We're thinking)
Oh, yes, we're thinking (We're thinking)
Thinking about a Merry Black Christmas
Baby, no, I'm thinking (I'm thinking)
About a Merry Black Christmas (I'm thinking)
Thinking about a Merry Black Christmas
