It only happens once a year
The leaves change and the air is clear
When equinox has passed us by
We draw closer to Halloween night
They lie in wait so patiently
Yearly, under the old birch tree
Inviting each outcast they see
To a ghoulish, monstrous jamboree
Welcome to Monster House
Feel free to bring your spouse
In the corner's the invisible man
He hangs out with Tarzan
This here's the Monster House
Where Witches serve fried mouse
Bats hang from chandeliers
While the mummy recites Shakespeare
Every Halloween night they come
To dance and laugh, have scary fun
See old friends 'neath the midnight sun
Hear werewolves howl in time with the drums
You may see a familiar face
Michael Jackson or Princess Grace
But be warned, once you enter here
You can never leave this atmosphere
There's Dracula, Godzilla too
The creature from the black lagoon
Big Foot, Jason, Freddy !! EW!!!!!
Chuckie and Mr McGoo!
The zombies dance when Elvis plays
Prince encores with purple rain
Freddy Mercury, Whitney too
Bowie rocks, and then there's YOU!
YOU! YOU! YOU! YOU!
Now there's YOU!
