Jordan Clarke scored 18 points, leading five Drake players in double figures, and the Bulldogs ended a three-game losing streak by beating Evansville 78-54 on Sunday night. Clarke also had 12 rebounds for Drake (14-12, 7-8 Missouri Valley), which never trailed. Kurt Alexander had 16 points, Rayvonte Rice scored 13, Jeremy Jeffers scored 12 and Aaron Hawley added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

The Drake women's basketball team snapped its four-game losing streak, defeating Evansville 55-51 on Sunday at the Ford Center. Drake improved to 12-12 overall and 6-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Purples Aces fell to 5-19, 2-11.
