Evan McDonald (born May 22, 2007), known professionally as slayr, is an American recording artist and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his songwriting, as well as collaborating with acts such as tana and Steele 11.In an interview with Kids Take Over, slayr began recording music at the age of 11, despite his mother being so against it, and he learned how to produce off of instruments his mother got him.
