Politic Live is a pioneering hip-hop trio, made up of Arlo Maverick aka Young Mav, Bigga Nolte, and Dirt Gritie, that continues to open doors for Alberta hip-hop. Through opening for the likes of K-Os, Planet Asia, and The Game, appearing on ZeD TV and having songs listed as Canadian Choice Cuts on HipHopCanada.com, Music For Mavericks' flagship artists have propelled to the forefront of Albertas budding hip-hop movement.In addition to touring across Canada, Politic Live are the first Edmonton-based hip-hop group to perform at both Peg City Holla (2002) and Canadian Music Week (2004).
