OMRI,formed in the year 2000 in israel by giftet songwriter Omri Geva and Itamar Ben-Zakay. in 2001 both Omri and Itamar moved back to nyc where they recorded and experimented with different music and sounds +playing live shows and recording the bands first album,HIT BY A DREAM. during the recording Omri and Itamar played and produced the album by themselves with the help of some cool musicians. the album was recorded in an apartment on the upper east side and in an additional recording studio on 28th street. during the years Omri and Itamar found the missing piece for the band in the form of a beautiful girl named jen who plays a weird but distinct instrument,the theremin. the band started recording their... read more
