Ms. Jade Lyrics

Ms. Jade whose birth name is Chevon Young was born on August 3, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she grew up in a section called Nicetown. While growing up Ms. Jade competed in local high school talent shows and even won one. After her graduation in 1997 she went to beauty school for 2 years. While in beauty school she began to write songs and did back up vocals at a local studio. By 1999 she had already recorded some tracks of her own. A year later in August of 2000 she auditioned for Missy Elliott leading Missy to call Timbaland and signing her to a record deal.
