There are two bands/artists with the name Minty.In 1993 performance artist and fashion designer Leigh Bowery formed the band Minty with friend and former 80's knitwear designer Richard Torry, Nicola Bateman and Matthew Glamorre. Their controversial single "Useless Man" along with their twisted onstage scatological performances caused The Sun newspaper to describe them as the "Sickest band in the world", of which Leigh was very proud.
