By the age of 25, Mike Comfort had spent most of his career as a session player and songwriter for other bands. In January of 2003, Mike formed his own band out of Northern California. Over the next two years they would become one of the region's most popular bands enjoying regular airplay on several radio stations and many sold out performances.In January of 2005, Mike took his music beyond a regional level with the independent national release of 'free'.
