Kufa Castro birth name Leandro Castro was Born in The Dominican Republic in1986 in the capital city of Santo Domingo in the humble neighborhood of Sabana Perdida. Growing up he was introduced to the classical Latin music by his parents at home by artist such as Jose Luis Perales, Jose Jose, Los Angeles Negros and then was later introduced to Latin Hip Hop and Reggeaton at the local corner store "the Colmado" and together getting a blend of the fine classical international Latin music and the Urban Rhythms of original reggae until 1996 when he moved to the city of Providence RI.
