KAJUN (Kriss Johnson Jr.) was born and raised in the Roseland area of the South Side of Chicago. KAJUN’s beginnings helped shape him for what was to come. Through his journey he has overcome the struggles of life and the art of music. Although, Kajun was out making a name for himself, he was still caught up in the ways of his teenage years. In 1996 he was shot outside the front of his south side home. It was through this experience he realized that he needed a change. He engulfed himseld in his music and began developing raps and through his creativity used whatever equipment he could find.
