DJ and rapper Luke Nasty was born as Leterrance Davis in 1991 in High Point, North Carolina. While still a saxophonist in high school, he joined the 336 Boyz, a four-man crew influenced by Atlanta snap music (á la Dem Franchize Boyz and D4L). The group released two albums – 2010's I Told You So and 2012's Full Cups and Empty Bottles – before Davis graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2013.
