Starting in early 2010, ColourMePink started as a no name Blink 182 / Simple Plan cover band. Originally, the band were planning on a punk sound, but due to new inspirations, lead singer and guitarist Gary O'Reilly steered the band into a new, popier direction. Recruiting keyboardist Rachel Boland, ColourMePink soon developed their own sound and Gary immedietly wrote 3 new songs. After acoustic demos of the songs were posted on www.myspace.com/colourmepxnk , they soon started to play local gigs.
