I desire vengeance

Demon of the underworld,
I summon thee tonight.
Feast on the blood of lesser mortals
Until the rising light.
Whet your gleaming fangs
Upon their brittle bones.
Let their screams be music
With a bass of dying groans.

“Your wish shall be granted,
O vile mortal man.
Bring to me the child’s blood.

I have put all my trust
In this dark ritual,
