This song seems to suggest there was a break up and now they're together again. The underlining issue for the singer is that he travels a lot, given the industry he's in, and he's saying "I'll beg, steal and borrow" (for you) as long as you follow. As long as you follow indicating staying by his side while touring or gone for long time or in the craziness of the music industry.
Thats my interpretation of it. Doesn't mean its correct. this is my rational.
