There's a wild wind blowing down the corner of my street
Every night there the headlights are glowing
There's a cold war coming on the radio, I heard
Baby, it's a violent world
Oh love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow?
I could hear rain coming, I could hear the sirens sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground
Time came a-creeping, oh, and time's a loaded gun
Every road is a ray of light
It goes on, time only can lead you on
Still, it's such a beautiful night
Oh love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow?
I can hear rain coming like a serenade of sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground
Gravity, release me
And don't ever hold me down
Now my feet won't touch the ground

What is the meaning behind Life In Technicolor Ii lyrics?
When we take a closer look to the meaning, the Coldplay's track 'Life In Technicolor II' shows a picture of an unstable world that is characterized by fear and uncertainty and where a wild wind, cold war and violent world are used as symbols. Whereas the troubles are the main theme, the song also expresses a human desire for liberation and escape through the metaphor of being brought to where the streetlights shine and the feet not touching the ground, implying a yearning for a saner and more uplifting world amidst the chaos. The lyrics of Life in technicolor ii majorly focus on love, reflection, hope, joy, and inspiration. At the same time, the song underscores the themes of love and longing, time and change, and freedom and escape. There are some adult themes in the lyrics, such as the 'violent world' and 'cold war,' to which younger kids might not be responded to properly. However, in the absence of explicit language, nudity, or drug use, the song is still suitable for older kids when parents are around to guide them. ✔️
