Safer Lyrics

Safer began as a recording project in 2005, when founding members Joseph Constantine and Andy Ruggles began collaborating on songs left over from previously imploded projects. The project took form from the many varying musical influences of it's creators. Constantine came to Seattle from Florida, where he grew up listening to everything from David Bowie and Jeff Buckley, to The Jesus Lizard and Braniac. Being a first chair trumpet player all through school, Constantine was quite familiar with musical performance. And after moving to Seattle and picking up a guitar, he started spending all of his free time writing and recording his own songs.
