Poliça (often written as Polica) is an American Synthpop,Indie Rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Their music incorporates sounds from Alternative Rock, Electronica, R&B and Trip Hop. The band was founded in 2011 by Ryan Olson and Channy Leaneagh, who had previously collaborated in the soft-rock band Gayngs.Their debut album, Give You the Ghost, was released on February 14,2012, and received praise from critics; including Grammy winner band Bon Iver's founder Justin Vernon,who told Rolling Stone: "They're the best band I've ever heard."
