The Phat Cat Players began to gain noteriety on the Tom Joyner Morning Show for their song, "Sundress" from their Make It Phat, Baby CD and began climbing Billboard's hip-hop/R&B charts in early spring 2000. This song was fronted by the sexy, smooth spoken word of Coco Brown. After the radio stations that carried Joyner's show began to get requests for the track, they began to add it to their play lists.
