ミニモニ。(Mini Moni) was a Japanese pop group formed in 2000 by Mari Yaguchi (矢口真里). It was a subgroup under Morning Musume (モーニング娘。) with the premise that it would consist of members under 150 cm (4'11") tall.Joining Yaguchi were Morning Musume members Ai Kago (加護亜依) and Nozomi Tsuji (辻希美). Before their debut, they added Mika Todd from Coconuts Musume (ココナッツ娘。).They released their first single in January 2001. Their songs were aimed towards a younger audience, but their popularity expanded beyond that thanks to the members having an existing fanbase from Morning Musume.
