Marvin, "The Paranoid Android", is a "Personality Prototype" robot developed by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation as part of their "Genuine People Personalities" series of robotics, infused with real human emotion and personalities, and marketed with the tagline, "Your Plastic Pal who's fun to be with!"
