Laurence Fox is best known as an actor, most notably for his role as DI James Hathaway in ITV's much-loved series Lewis. He was born in Yorkshire in May 1978 to actor James Fox and his wife Mary Piper. He is the third of 5 children, with 2 older brothers, a younger brother, actor Jack Fox, and younger sister, actress Lydia Fox. He is the cousin of actors Emilia and Freddie Fox, and the nephew of Edward Fox.
