There are two bands that have gone by the name Dr. Acula.1) Dr. Acula was a deathcore band from Long Island, New York.2) Dr. Acula was the original name of the band Bear vs. Shark.1) Dr. Acula was a deathcore band from Long Island, New York. The band's name comes from a joke written by stand-up comedian Mitch Hedberg. Most of their earlier songs are named after books in R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS series.
