Da Silva is the stage name of Emmanuel da Silva, born in 1976, in the city of Nevers, France.As a teenager his musical taste led him to the punk group Mad Coakroches.He then turned to a more raw sound, forming Punishment Park, alongside former members of Tambours du Bronx.At the age of 21, he decided to focus on a more acoustic style with his new band Venus Coma, having also dabbled in electronic music under the stage name of Mitsu.Inhabitant of Rennes since 2007, he also lived for 18 months in Dinan, a town which was a great source of inspiration for him.
