Her films include Flashdance (1983), Staying Alive (1983), Runaway (1984) and Dirty Dancing (1987).Rhodes was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Her skills as a dancer were seen in music videos by Toto (including the video for the 1982 hit single "Rosanna") and in her husband's video for the song "Don't Mean Nothing." Also danced for the band The Tubes when they toured in the early '80s. Rhodes enjoyed a stay of success in the late 1980s as a singer with the pop group Animotion.
