The Cultured Pearls are a german band playing a mix of soul, rock, jazz, and funk, but also some trip-hop and country elements can be found in their songs. Astrid North (vocals, lyrics), Tex Super (bass, trumpet, keyboards, guitar) and B. La (drums, keyboards) came together in 1992 and got their first record contract in 1995.
