Frontman Aidy has mainly cited Mogwai, Oceansize, Miss Black America, Daisy Chainsaw and Placebo as influences.Chasing Melfina were formed in Cambridge, England in 2008 by Aidy James Stevens (vocals, guitar) following the collapse of his previous band.
