SUMMER AT SHATTER CREEK

- The Drive Lyrics

I took a drive to see you last night after midnight. I
drove all the way over you weren't there. On my return I
decided to travel on to the part of town that I'm not so
sure of, what they call bad. I saw girls pushing babies
as they slept in their strollers being pushed from the
corners into the dark. And there were dogs that took over
where the homeless would slumber n the day, but it was
night now in the park. Now this part it's so different.
It's unlike me it's so distant just the colors are
different, now I know. I'm not sure why I'm wary, in the
dark things get hazy, but I know I'd be crazy to ignore.
