This is a story to illustrate that when finally confronted with our sin
there are really only two genuine reactions.
Eternity hinges on whether a soul is defiant or repentant.
And whether or not they are able to believe in the “Son of God”...

1st Thief: IT HURTS!!!
You saved others, Christ! Come on! Save yourself!
If you’re the Son of God come off of the cross.
They say you’re a god! They say you’re a king!
Well I say you’re a man, and I’ll watch you bleed.

They came to laugh and jeer, to scoff and to scorn!
“Behold the King of the Jews!” and his crown of thorns.
“We have no king but Caesar!” I heard the priests say. Well I don’t believe those religious folk ya know,

Have you no shame!? No godly fear!?
Would you mock innocent blood? You and I, we know why we’re here.
