When we ask ourselves what the song was truly meant to express, Jesse McCartney's 'I'll Try' is a story about the transition from doubt to accepting faith, employing notions like 'faith' and 'Pixie Dust' as metaphors for the regaining of wonder and trust in the midst of life's difficulties. The lyrics of 'I'll Try' mainly highlight the topics of inspiration, reflection, hope, empowerment, and spirituality. The song concurrently conveys the necessity of growth and self-sufficiency, accountability, hiding one's weaknesses, spiritual death, wrestling with the truth, perplexity and reform, faith's rediscovery and determination to hope. The lyrics involve themes of struggle, doubt, and the search for belief, which might be more appropriate for an adult audience. The language used is soft but the emotional power and the dealing with the intricacies of feelings might require the presence of adults for the younger ones.
This song makes me cry. When I first heard it in Return to Neverland, I cried hard. I dont want to grow up really. I'm 17 now. I'm getting married in a couple of weeks and movin out. I miss being a kid.
