This song is about losing her Dad in a car accident they were in when she was 10. Her father supported her love of music and she obviously misses him greatly. Her faith allows her to look forward to seeing him again.

I cried when I listened to this song. It' s beautiful lyrics reminded me of my daughter Jennifer Bostic who died in 1996 as a result of a car accident. She was 15.

i think it is talking about jesus and how he was always there protecting the singer and then god took him away to be in heaven the singer is jealous of the angels because they get to be with him and she doesnt.
