I think it means that we are dead in sin but alive in Christ. There are many different meanings to the word "zombie." The literal meaning to the word zombie is a person who appears to be lifeless, apathetic, or lacking independent judgment. I think that FF5 was trying to say that they are dead to sin and are alive in Christ, they have turned from their evil ways and are walking in the light of Christ.
