Alyssa Jacey The Boy & His Guitar Lyrics

October I took the trip of my life
Went on the road, 3 weeks of shows
Now a different city, never knew what I would find
I noticed his voice but he did he notice mine?

All my love pours into this
and I breathe music through my heart and out my sub-conscience
Now Beale Street lit by slowly falling stars
So far away from home I'm all alone watching the boy & his guitar

Only an hour turned in to three or four
I had lost track after the last Jack and he led me through his door
*up a against the wall, didn't waste no time at all* ass tight in his grip, I'm biting my lip as we took it to the floor

Sounds came out his mouth like a lion on it's prey
I twist and turned in ways I never learned
and not an inch of me went to waste

It was so unexpected...So much fun
too bad it was done...here comes the sun...

October I took the trip of my life
Memphis, Tennessee you showed me a real good time

blue neon lights flickering outside
as I drove away from the bar
I'll remember this tour for sure
The boy, and his guitar
The boy, and his guitar
