LAFAYETTE -- Jody Mattison remembers what it was like to paint the picturesque views of the Italian region of Tuscany and Umbria. While lodging at an ancient Roman watchtower set on a hill overlooking two castles, Mattison captured quaint hill towns, local villages and lush landscapes on her canvas.
