Before being known to the masses by his stage name “Spechinal,” Horace Mitchell grew up in Four Paths, a district in May Pen, Clarendon. From the moment he was introduced to the world, Mitchell had a natural feel for music; keenly listening to the radio & gaining interest in music from his time in basic school. His desire for music showed in class devotions; always wanting to be the first one called up to sing and then later served on church choirs.
