Sharkboy - the brainchild of singer-songwriter Avy who formed the band in 1992 in collaboration with 5 Brighton boys. The musically ambitious 6 piece secured a deal to release 'Matinee' in 1994 on Nude Records, during the period the label was riding high on the rollercoaster that was Suede's early success.
