Rardin Din Dardin formed his band in early 2004 with his wife, Rardette Din Dardin. In 2004, Rardin released his debut album, My Old Chippewa Valley, through Rardin Records. Immediately after the release, Rardin and Rardette went back to their studio to begin recording for their second album. In 2006, New Tractor was released. The success of this album was due mainly to the popularity of its first single, also entitled "New Tractor". Following their tradition, Rardin and his wife returned to their studio to record more.
