FX has cast Mia Maestro as Dr. Nora Martinez, the female lead in its drama pilot "The Strain," based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and author Chuck Hogan. She joins Corey Stoll, who will play the role of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather.
